The Branson 4TR is a 40 kHz piezoelectric ultrasonic converter (transducer) designed for use with Branson 900, 2000, and 2000X Series ultrasonic welding systems. It converts high-frequency electrical energy from the power supply into mechanical ultrasonic vibrations, which are transmitted through a booster and horn to the workpiece. The 4TR features a military-style MS circular connector, analog output, and AC current type. It is compatible with Branson actuator models 4MB4, 4MB3, 4MC3, 943, and 947, and mounts via stud mount. OEM part number 101-135-042 (also catalogued as 101-135-042R).
