Product Description
The Omron DRT2-HD16C is a DeviceNet environment-resistive Smart Slave terminal featuring 16 NPN (negative common) transistor digital inputs rated at 24 VDC. Designed for field installation in harsh industrial environments, it carries an IP67 waterproof, oil-proof, and weld-spatter-proof rating and connects to the DeviceNet network via rugged 5-pin M12 connectors — eliminating the need for separate I/O power supply wiring for input devices. As a Smart Slave, it provides built-in diagnostic and preventive maintenance functions including sensor power supply short-circuit detection, I/O response time monitoring, and operation counters accessible over the network.
