Product Description
The Pepperl+Fuchs BSS58N-02AAVR0NN-0013 is a singleturn absolute rotary encoder from the BSS58 series, featuring a 58 mm industrial-standard housing with a recessed hollow shaft for direct shaft mounting without coupling. It uses optical (photoelectric) sensing technology and transmits a 13-bit position value via four integrated AS-Interface slave chips to the master PLC in a single communication cycle, supporting both Gray and Binary output codes. The encoder is parameterized and addressed via the AS-Interface bus and is designed for standard (non-hazardous) industrial automation applications.
