The Sick XC40E-0303A0A0CBC0 is a C4000 Select series safety light curtain receiver unit featuring a 300 mm protective field height and 30 mm resolution (hand/arm detection), designed for machine safeguarding in normal industrial environments. It provides two PNP semiconductor safety outputs (OSSDs) that are short-circuit and cross-circuit monitored, and includes an integrated LED status indicator and extended I/O connection in the bottom end cap for cascading additional protective devices. The C4000 Select achieves the highest safety ratings of PL e (EN ISO 13849), SIL 3 (IEC 61508), and Type 4 (IEC 61496), making it suitable for demanding hazardous point and area protection applications.
