The YE Data YD-702D-6639D is a 3.5-inch (90mm) internal high-density floppy disk drive with a 25.4mm (1-inch) form factor height. It features a brushless direct-drive spindle motor for rotational accuracy and a lead screw stepping motor head actuator for precise track positioning and enhanced shock/vibration resistance. The drive supports three capacity modes — 2.0MB (2HD), 1.6MB, and 1.0MB (2DD) — making it broadly compatible with worldwide floppy disk standards and numerous industrial, embedded, and legacy computing applications.
