Product Description
The Accu-Coder Model 716-D is an incremental shaft encoder manufactured by Encoder Products Company (EPC). This unit features 1024 cycles per revolution (CPR) and operates on 5 VDC, providing quadrature output with NPN open collector signals for direction-sensing applications. The Model 716 series is the original industry-standard cube encoder, designed for compatibility with programmable controllers, electronic counters, motion controllers, and motor drives, utilizing advanced Opto-ASIC circuitry for enhanced reliability. Output is via a shielded flying lead cable.
