Product Description
The PHD Inc. 17502-2-08 / 17522-2 is a Series 1750 Compact DC Reed Proximity Switch set used for cylinder piston position sensing on PHD pneumatic, hydraulic, and Tom Thumb actuators. The 17502-2-08 is the cabled variant with an 8-foot cable, while the 17522-2 is the quick connect (M8 3-pin male connector) variant — both providing NPN (sink) or PNP (source) DC Reed output in a white housing with bi-polar LED indicator. These switches interface directly with programmable controllers, sequencers, and relays and are actuated by the cylinder's internal piston magnet. Note: Both models are factory-obsolete; the JC1RDU-K is the current factory replacement for the 17522-2.
