Product Description
The SMC MHW2-40D1 is a 180° Angular Style Air Gripper using a rack and pinion mechanism, featuring a 40 mm bore and double-acting operation with external grip. Its unique seal construction provides a shortened overall body length and constant grip strength throughout the open/close cycle, while a dustproof structure and standard-equipped bearings make it well-suited for machine tool workpiece removal, loading, and holding applications. The two synchronized fingers rotate back perpendicular to the gripper body for space-saving, low-clearance X-Y plane transfer moves.
